June C Christian

June C. Christian, 90, of Topton, formerly of Somers Point, New Jersey, died Thursday, October 11, 2012 in the Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Edwin Z. Christian.

Born in Wheeling, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Earl Ray and Rebecca C. (Collins) Brown. Mrs. Christian was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Topton. She was a 1940 graduate of Ocean City High School, Ocean City New Jersey. Mrs. Christian was employed as a secretary and administrative assistant for six years by Innovating Worthy Projects Foundation, Somers Point, New Jersey, retiring in 1994. June enjoyed sewing, gardening, and reading.

She is survived by a Daughter, Veronica (Roberts), wife of Terry West, Beaverton, Oregon; Sons, Donald J. Roberts, Boulder, Colorado, Roy S. Roberts, Exeter, Rhode Island, and 4 Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a Sister, Mary Arlene DeVaul, June 2, 2012.

Graveside services and interment will be Friday, October 19, 2012 at 12:00 PM in Seaville Methodist Cemetery, Seaville, New Jersey. There are no calling hours.
