Judy L. Rohrbach

Judy L. (Wink) Rohrbach, 69, of Longswamp Township, died Saturday, March 17, 2018 in her home surrounded by her loving family, following a valiant fight against Leukemia.  She was the wife of Ray H. Rohrbach. They were married May 25, 1968.  Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late George and Althea E. (Meckes) Wink.  Judy was a member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, Mertztown, where she formerly served as a Sunday school teacher. She was employed with The Lutheran Home at Topton, for over thirty years, first as a nurse's aide, then in the central supply department, and retired in 2013, from the material management department.  Prior she worked for the Brandywine Heights School District as a cafeteria worker.  Judy loved the beach, travelling, the Philadelphia Phillies, but most important was her family. She enjoyed most of all, watching her grandchildren and participating in their activities.  Following her diagnosis with Leukemia, Judy zealously participated in campaigns to raise funds for research into finding a cure for Leukemia and Lymphoma, through her team, Judy's Juggernauts.

In addition to her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Ray, Judy is survived by her children, Kimberly A. (Rohrbach) wife of Scott R. Milham, Bethlehem; Pamela S. (Rohrbach) Kemp, Alburtis; and Michael R., husband of Amy L. (Weller) Rohrbach, Mertztown.  Other survivors include her grandchildren, Courtney E. Milham, Andrew S. Milham, Tyler C. Kemp, and Maci J. Rohrbach.

A memorial service to celebrate Judy's life will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. from Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, 50 Luther Drive, Mertztown, with her pastor, The Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Sassaman, officiating. There will be a calling period from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. in the church.  Inurnment will be private the convenience of the family.
