Mrs. Judith Anne Frantz

Judith Anne “Judy” (Broad) Frantz, 82, of Maxatawny Township, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Richard R. Frantz, whom she married on March 20, 1993.

Born in Bethlehem, Judy was a daughter of the late Frank and Katherine (Schugar) Broad, and was a 1956 graduate of Liberty High School, Bethlehem. She worked as a Quality Control Technician and Laborer for Kraft Foods, Inc., at their former Fogelsville plant.

In her free time, Judy loved being at her home and working in her garden, cultivating beautiful flowers and plants. She also enjoyed crafting, especially knitting and needlepoint.

In addition to her husband of almost 28 years, Richard, Judy is survived by her children, Richard C., husband of Kathleen F. (Flynn) Guerrieri, Lander WY, and Jeffrey L., husband of Dorothy H. (Kunkel) Guerrieri, Boyertown, and Jon M., husband of Heather M. (Russell) Frantz, Gilbertsville; seven grandchildren, Gwen (Guerrieri), wife of Adam Stasko, Matt Guerrieri, Sylvia Guerrieri, Kate Guerrieri, Flynn Guerrieri, Zachary Frantz and Allison Frantz; and two great-granddaughters, Adyson and Ashley Stasko.  She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Evelyn Broad, Whitehall; niece, Carol, wife of Tony Chorones, Catasauqua; and a sister and brother-in-law, Elaine (Frantz) and Curt Quinter, Hobe Sound, FL.

In addition to her parents, Judy was predeceased by her sister, Susan Edwards and a brother, Thomas Broad.

A memorial service to celebrate Judy’s life will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Pastor Mark Dewald officiating. There will be a visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date.
