Joyce L Delong

Joyce L. (Miller) DeLong, 85, of Kutztown, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 in The Lutheran Home at Topton, where she was a resident for three years. She was the widow of Carl R. DeLong, Sr., who died on August 23, 1986.

Born in Kutztown, Joyce was the daughter of the late Robert N., Sr., and Miriam (Geist) Miller. She was a member of Christ (DeLong) United Church of Christ, Bowers, and a graduate of Kutztown Area High School. She was employed as a custodian by AT&T, Breinigsville, for many years until her retirement. Joyce loved to dance and enjoyed country music.

She is survived by Sons, Carl R. "Butch" DeLong, Jr., companion of Diane L. Wagner, Mertztown, and Dean M. DeLong, Kutztown; Daughters, Gail L. (DeLong), wife of Guy A. Foscone, Kutztown, and Cher D. (DeLong), wife of Scott Gallaway, Fleetwood; 4 Grandchildren, Jeffrey A. DeLong, Michael S. DeLong, Kelly D. (Foscone) Drey, Brooke N. Rehrig; and a Great Grandson, Zachary DeLong. She is also survived by a Twin Sister, Jean (Miller) Frederic, Kutztown, and a Brother, Robert N. Miller, Jr., Pittsburgh. She was predeceased by her Husband, Parents, Sisters, Vicki L. Miller in childhood and Patricia A. Hertzog on September 26, 2015.

At Joyce's request, services will be private.
