Joyce I Trexler

Joyce I. (Snyder) Trexler, 85, formerly of Alburtis, died Monday, July 9, 2012 in Lehigh Center, Lower Macungie Township. She was the widow of Leon H. Trexler, who died September 16, 1998.

Born in Topton, she was a daughter of the late Victor D. and Florence M. (Eisenhower) Snyder. Mrs. Trexler was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Alburtis, where she was active with their church bazaars and craft fairs. Mrs. Trexler was employed in the production department at Kraft Foods, Fogelsville from 1973 until her retirement in 1989. Prior to that, she worked at the former Royal Manufacturing, Alburtis. Mrs. Trexler was a member of the Red Hat Society, Macungie. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, knitting, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by Sons, Larry L. husband of Yvonne (Lehr) Trexler, Palm Harbor, FL, Robert L. husband of Judith M. (OBrien) Trexler, West Virginia, and Lynn T. Trexler, Mertztown. She is also survived by a Brother, Roy K. Snyder, Fremont, CA. There are 8 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and a Great-Great Granddaughter.

Funeral Services are Thursday, July 12, 2012, 10:30 AM from the Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
