Mrs. Joyce Anne Siefert

Joyce Anne Siefert, 83 of Kutztown, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 in Lehigh Valley Hospital- Cedar Crest. She was the wife of Spencer Siefert.

She was born in Richmond Hill, NY to the late Elliott and Charlotte Henderson and sister to the late Beverly Shaw of Levittown, NY.

Joyce and Spencer relocated from New York to Kutztown in 2005 to enjoy the simpler life. Joyce became involved with Friends, Inc. community services helping out at the local food pantry and collecting donations each year from local businesses for their annual benefit auction which benefitted Berks County neighbors in need. Joyce also loved volunteering at the Kutztown Folk festival every year.

Joyce was also an avid gardener who was blessed with a green thumb and had a wonderful creative ability making beautiful crafts.

Joyce is survived by her husband Spencer of 62 years, her sons James and Thomas, and her daughter Bonnie (Siefert) Kaminski and son-in-law, Richard and 17 grandchildren whom she loved with all of her heart.

A funeral service to celebrate and honor Joyce’s life will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, PA with The Reverend Dr. Dennis S. Ritter officiating. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday evening, February 11, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and again on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
