Mr. Joshua N. Drey

Joshua N. Drey, 39, of Kutztown, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 19, 2021. Born in West Reading, Josh was the beloved son of Jay C. and Rosemary (Bond) Drey, of Topton, PA and the loving brother of Gregory A. Drey of Philadelphia, PA.

Josh was a 1999 graduate of Brandywine Heights High School, Topton, and attended Penn State University. Josh was a fantastic cook and worked in the restaurant industry for many years.  Most recently, he was employed at The Shelby, Allentown, PA.

He enjoyed time spent with friends, collecting rare Adidas sneakers, Anime, video games, and his house cat, Gozer. He was also an avid sports enthusiast who especially loved the Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers. Josh had a phenomenal memory, wit, and wealth of trivia knowledge. He will be greatly missed and forever loved.

In addition to his parents and brother, Josh is survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate and honor Josh's life will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, PA with Rev. Marty Milne officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Burial will be held privately by his family in Hope Cemetery, Dryville.

In honor of Josh's love for animals, the family requests memorial contributions be made in his memory to The Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
