Joseph J Moran Jr

Joseph J. Moran, Jr., 58, of Macungie, died October 13, 2010 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Carol A. (Urban) Moran. They were married April 19, 1988.

Born in Ashland, PA, he was a son of the late Joseph J., Sr. and Eva (Zewan) Moran. He was Catholic. He was a 1970 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School. Joseph was employed at GMI, Topton, as a saw operator. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Mt. Carmel.

He is survived by Wife, Step-Daughter, Carol A. (Minahan) wife of Keith D. Wolfe, Schuylkill Haven; Step-Son, James J. Minahan, Mahanoy Plane; Sisters, Marilyn (Moran) wife of Jack Williams, Mt. Carmel and Jolene (Moran) wife of Larry Mekailek, Germanville; Step-Grandchildren, Nicole, Michelle and Brian Copeland, Cody Mertz, James and Dylan Minahan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a Brother, James Moran.

Memorial Services are Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
