Joseph H Michaud

Joseph H. Michaud, 78, of Mercer, PA, formerly of North Wales, Montgomery County  died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was the widower of Diane B. (DeLozier) Michaud .

Born in Madawaska , ME , he was a son of the late Daniel and Sophia (Chasse) Michaud. Mr. Michaud was a career United States Air Force veteran serving in both the Korean and Viet Nam wars. He served over 20 years. He was later employed as an electric technician by Pratt & Whitney, Hartford, CT, for 10 years and the former AEL, North Wales. Mr. Michaud enjoyed traveling to car shows, and was a member of the Ford Mustang Club of America. He also enjoyed watching airplanes; had a love for sheltie dogs; and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren .

He is survived by Daughter, Tina M. (Michaud), wife of Jeffrey M. Spencer, Mertztown, PA; Son, David K. Michaud; 2 Grandchildren, Sgt. Michael R. Spencer, USAF, McConnell Air Force Base, Wichita, KS, Krystal D. Spencer, Mertztown; and 2 Great Grandchildren, Jeffery J. Spencer and Khloe E. Neith .

Private graveside services and inurnment, with military honors, will be held at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Lebanon County .
