JoLynn M. (Freed) Henninger, 46, of Fleetwood (Rockland Township), passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 21, 2022 surrounded by the love of her family, following a five-year courageous battle with breast cancer. She was the loving wife of Tadd J. Henninger, whom she married on April 27, 2007.
Born in Reading. JoLynn was a daughter of Charles I. Freed, of Bethel, PA, and Jeanne P. (Yeakley) Freed of Branchdale, PA. She was a 1993 graduate of Tulpehocken High School, Bernville, and a graduate of Albright College, Reading, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree, with highest honors. JoLynn was employed by First Energy Corporation (previously Med-Ed), Reading, working as a Business Analyst for 25 years.
JoLynn enjoyed spending time at her home, maintaining the grounds and flowerbeds. She looked forward to her yearly family and friend vacations to various destinations around the world. JoLynn also loved country music, especially Eric Church, who she personally got to meet after winning a special contest. While attending one of his concerts in Washington, JoLynn held up one of her boots during the playing of his famous song, “These Boots”, with a sign that read “These Boots Kicked Cancer’s Ass”. Eric selected JoLynn’s boot to autograph and shared her powerful message with the entire audience!
One of JoLynn’s favorite places, however, was Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It was there she shared some of life’s most special moments with the ones she loved. Above all, JoLynn was a loving and most caring mother of two girls, who were her pride and joy. JoLynn’s sweet, smiling face and her infectious personality will certainly leave a hole in the hearts of her family and friends, but they will be forever thankful for the laughs and memories she imparted on them.
Along with her husband of 15 years, Tadd, her father Charlie and mother Jeanne; JoLynn is survived by her two beautiful daughters, Addison Delaney Henninger (13) and Jordan Presley Henninger (10), at home; Tadd’s parents, Donald L., husband of Bonnie L.
