John T Grier

John T. Grier, 72, of Longswamp Township, died Saturday, June 9, 2012 in his residence.

Born in Buffalo, NY, he was a son of the late Livingston and Dorothy E. (Fosmer) Grier. He was employed as a foreman by Heyser Landscaping, Trooper, Montgomery Co., for 29 years. Mr. Grier was a member of Alburtis Rod and Gun Club and VFW Post 7155, Collegeville, PA. He was an avid Phillies and NASCAR fan.

He is survived by a Daughter, Kelly E. (Grier) wife of Paul G. Smith, Birdsboro, son, John T. Grier, Jr., Bechtelsville; Sister, Catherine D. Painter, Longswamp Township, 4 Grandchildren, Alexis Smith, Summer Grier, Dani Smith, and Codi Grier. He was predeceased by a Sister, Patricia E. Severson in 2010; Brother, Lawrence Grier in 1980, and Grandson, John D. Grier in 2006.

Services and inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.
