John L Bailey

John Louis Bailey, age 83, of 271 Race St., Macungie, formerly of Garden City, Long Island, N.Y., died Thursday, July 10, 2003, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was a Protestant. He was an underwriter for the New York Life Insurance Co., Manhattan, N.Y., for 40 years before retiring in the 1980s. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

There are no immediate survivors. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
