John G. Marshall, age 69, of 1940 Columbine Ave., Bethlehem PA, died Monday, January 7, 2002 in the St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA. He was the Husband of Jean H. (Stiles) Marshall. The couple celebrated their 44th Wedding Anniversary last May.

Born in Allentown PA, he was the Son of the late John W. and Marie J. (Heintzelman) Marshall. He was a Member of Christ United Church of Christ, Bethlehem PA. He was a Graduate of the Central Technical Institute, Kansas City MO. He was a Bridge Inspector for Cherry, Weber and Associates, Phillipsburg NJ from 1987 - 1997. He worked at Lehigh Valley Railroad in the Engineering Department, was Manager of General Accounting and Manager of Credit and Collections. He was the Real Estate and Tax Agent for the Lehigh Valley Railroad and was the third last employee of the railroad. He was a Partner in the WJ Tinsman and Associates Civil Engineering, Bethlehem from 1965 - 1989. He was a Member of the Harry F. W. Johnson American Legion Post 379, Bethlehem PA. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean War. He was awarded the Korean ans United Nation Campaign Ribbon with two Bronze Stars.

He is survived by his Wife; Sons, Chip Marshall of Bethlehem PA and Steven A. Marshall of Bethlehem PA; Sister, Beverly M. (Marshall) Ludwick of Bethlehem PA; and 3 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the Family. There are no calling hours. Interment with Military Honors in Bethlehem Memorial Park, Bethlehem. Arrangements are by Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., Kutztown PA.
