John F Hilbert

John F. Hilbert, 76, of Berkleigh Court, Kutztown, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading. He was the husband of Jeanette E. (Bubbenmoyer) Hilbert. They were married on July 24, 1954.

Born in Maxatawny Township, Berks County, PA he was a son of the late Freemont P. and Carrie M. (Miller) Hilbert. He was a member of St. Paul’s UCC Church, Kutztown. He was a Marine Corp veteran of the Korean War. He was a grid caster at East Penn Manufacturing, Lyon Station, for 32 years retiring in 1994.

He is survived by Wife, Daughter, Jan R. (Hilbert) wife of Garry B. Rompella, Kutztown; Sons, Lamont J. husband of Terri (Berry) Hilbert, Kutztown, Ronald C. husband of Veronica (Lakatos) Hilbert, Kempton; Sisters, Miriam (Hilbert) widow of Mark Reed, Topton, Jean A. (Hilbert) widow of Donald Becker, Kutztown, Roberta (Hilbert) widow of Albert Schukraft, The Lutheran Home; Brothers, Lee W. Hilbert and Carl F. Hilbert, both of Lyons; 5 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandson.

Funeral Services are Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
