John E Kutz Jr

John E. Kutz, Jr., 64, of South Maple Street, Kutztown Borough, Kutztown, died Tuesday, March 1, 2005, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp., near Allentown, where he was a patient one day. He was the husband of Doris A. (Meals) Kutz, they were married December 9, 1961.

Born in Richmond Twp., Berks County, PA, he was the son of the late John E., Sr., and the late Beulah S. (Adam) Kutz. He was employed for 34 years in the shipping and receiving department of the former Caloric Corporation, Topton. He then was employed in the same capacity for East Penn Manufacturing Company, Lyon Station, for 12 years until his retirement in 2004. He was a 1958 graduate of Fleetwood Area High School. He was a member of Becker’s Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church, (Richmond Twp.) Fleetwood, PA.

He is survived by Wife, Sons, David J. Kutz, Sr., (Richmond Twp.) Kutztown, Allen J. Kutz, (Richmond Twp.) Kutztown; Daughter, Lori A. (Kutz) wife of Mark E. Friend, (Windsor Twp.) Hamburg; Brother, Richard Kutz, Fleetwood; Sisters, Elaine (Kutz) Trexler, Kempton, Sandra (Kutz) Horvath, Kutztown; 6 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandson.

Funeral Services are Saturday, March 5, 2005, at 2:00 PM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Becker’s Saint Peter’s Cemetery, (Richmond Twp.) Fleetwood. Friends may call Saturday, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
