John A Buchanan

John A. Buchanan, 74, of Turkey Ridge Road, (Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County) Breinigsville, PA, died Tuesday, January 4, 2005, in Saint Luke’s Hospital – Allentown Campus, Allentown, where he was a patient since December 28 ^th . He was married to Mary (Storebin) Buchanan.

Born in Trenton, NJ, he was the son of the late Alton M. and the late Sara Jane (Abbott) Buchanan. He was employed for 30 years by the State of New Jersey as an electrician. Prior to that, he was employed by the former Stoukoff Aircraft Corporation. He was a member of the Academy Model Aeronautics Assoc., Air Force Association, Tri-County Wing Snappers, and Crossing Free Flight Group. He was a member of Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown.

He is survived by Wife, Daughters, Deborah E. Buchanan companion of James L. Ferguson, Joplin, Missouri, Dawn-Sarah (Buchanan) wife of Jeffrey S. Stump, Allentown; Brother, Ronald W. Buchanan, Lawrenceville, NJ; 5 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 8, 2005 at 10:00 AM from Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown. Internment will be private at the convenience of the family in Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville (Lower Macungie Twp., Lehigh County). Friends may call Saturday, 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the church. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
