Mrs. Joanne F. Hallman

Joanne F. (Heffner) Hallman, 86, of Breinigsville, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 in The Willow Senior Living Community, Macungie, where she was a resident for two years. She was the loving wife of Albert A. Hallman whom she married on May 1, 1954.

Born in Alburtis, Joanne was a daughter of the late David and Edna M. (Wetzel) Heffner. She was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Alburtis for many years. She worked as an Assembler at the former Caloric Corporation, Topton from 1961 until her retirement in 1992.

Joanne enjoyed camping, bowling, clamming and traveling to Las Vegas.

In addition to her husband of 67 years, Albert, Joanne is survived by her two grandchildren, Todd J., husband of Valerie (Henne) Hallman, Bethel, and Dennika L. (Hallman), wife of Jim Weller, Dauphin, PA; two great-grandchildren, Garon and Tayla; brother, David L. Heffner, Sr., a resident of Kutztown Manor; and daughter-in-law, Linda Hallman, widow of predeceased son, Jeffrey A. Hallman who died in 2020.

A funeral service to celebrate Joanne's life will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton, with Reverend Dr. Matthew Gorkos officiating. Burial will follow in Lehigh Zion Cemetery, Alburtis. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.

The family requests contributions be made in Joanne's memory to Church of the Good Shepherd UCC, 135 Quarry Road, Alburtis, PA  18011.
