Joann M Hess

JoAnn M. Hess, 52, of Brandywine Rd, Wyomissing, died Saturday, September 17, 2005 in Gallaway Towship, NJ. She was the wife of Gary S. Hess, they were married September 8, 1973.

Born in Allentown, PA she was the daughter of Betty J. (Wanitzky) Schade of Kutztown, and the late Irvin F. Schade. She was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing where she was an usher and member of the bell choir. She was nurse supervisor of the hyperbaric chamber for wound care at Saint Joseph’s Medical Center, Reading, for the past two years. In addition she was an operating room nurse at Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading, from 1973 until the present. She was a graduate of the Allentown Hospital School of Nursing. In addition to being a registered nurse she was also a certified operating room nurse.

She is survived by Husband, Mother, Sons, Kurt P. husband of Jessica A. (Hause) Hess, West Lawn; Duane I. husband of Kristie M. (Moyer) Hess, Merion Station, Montgomery County. In addition she is survived by a brother, Gary S. husband of Pamela R. (Smith) Schade, Cleveland, TN. She was predeceased by her in-laws Willard E. and Hilda M. (Stewart) Hess.

Funeral Services are Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at 8:00 PM, from the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich St., Kutztown. The Rev. Father Donald Cieniewicz officiating. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown, at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Wednesday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
