Joan J Redcay

Joan J. (Koch) Redcay, 70, of Topton died Sunday, June 26, 2011 in the Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the wife of Lynn G. Redcay. They were married October 16, 1971.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Edna Glass. She attended Lighthouse Community Church, Lyon Station. She was employed as an assembler by the former Caloric Corp., Topton from 1972 to 1979. Joan was a member of Pike Township Sportsmen’s Association and the Ladies Auxiliary of Ray A. Master Post 217, American Legion, Topton. She loved her family and playing Bingo. Joan was a proud supporter and cook for her son’s racing team, Barry White modified racing.

She is survived by Husband, Son, Barry L. husband of Peggy A. (Stoudt) White, Mertztown; Stepson, Alan S. husband of Teresa Redcay, Fleetwood; Sisters, Delores, Dawn Charlotte, and Brother, Robert. She is also survived by Grandchildren, Tania A. Kline and Matthew R. Redcay. She was predeceased by a Sister, Geraldine, and Brothers, Charles and Donald.

Funeral Services are Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 7:30 PM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment will be Friday at 11:30 AM in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Friends may call Thursday, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the funeral home.
