Jerry L. "Mooch" Gambler, 67, of Topton, died of injuries sustained in a traffic accident on Sunday, May 12, 2024, in Maxatawny Township. Born in Allentown, Jerry was a son of the late Whurrene "Reenie" D. and Eleanor M. (Haring) Gambler.
Jerry was employed as a warehouse worker for Caloric Corporation at its former Topton plant, then AT&T, Breinigsville and AmeriCold, Fogelsville, until his retirement.
Jerry was a graduate of Brandywine Heights High School, Class of 1975. He was also a member of Ray A. Master Post 217 American Legion Home Association, Topton; Enjoyed hunting, Racing, and was fond of Labrador Retrievers.
Jerry is survived by a brother, S. Grant Gambler, Fleetwood; 2 nieces, Shawn L. (Quillman), wife of Kevin L. Spatz, Fleetwood; and Shannon L. (Quillman), wife of Chad M. Lutz, Fleetwood. There is also a great niece, Sage L. Spatz; and a great nephew, Alexander W. Spatz. In addition to his parents, Jerry was predeceased by his sister, Wilhelmina L. (Gambler) Quillman, who died June 5, 2000.
A service to honor and celebrate Jerry's life will be announced in the future.
