Jerome Paul Lendacki

September 30, 1924 — October 21, 2003

Jerome P. Lendacki Sr., 79, of 57 Deysher Road, Fleetwood, died Tuesday, October 21, 2003, in his home. He was married to Elizabeth (Patrick) Lendacki for 57 years in September.

Born in Oley, Berks County, he was a son of the late John and the late Anna (Lendacky) Lendacki. He owned and operated the former New Jerusalem Inn, Fleetwood, from 1963 until retiring in 1979. Prior to that, he was a metallurgist for Carpenter Steel, Reading, for nine years and an insurance agent for Washington National Insurance Co. for nine years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kutztown. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, where he served on the USS Bismarck Sea and flew 26 missions as an aviation ordnanceman.

He is survived by Wife; Sons, Jerome P. Jr. of Fleetwood, Joseph of Lexington, S.C.; Sister, Rita Hafer of Exeter Township, Berks County; Brothers, Cyril of Oley, Edmond of New Port Richey, Fla.; 2 Grandchildren, a Step Granddaughter, a Great Grandson.

Funeral services are at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
