Jerome A Jackson

Jerome A. Jackson, 38, of Reading, formerly of Kutztown, died suddenly Saturday, September 7, 2013, in Reading.

Born in Wilmington, DE, he was a son of Jerome "Jerry" Jackson, Kutztown and Beryl E. "Elaine" Jackson, Wilmington, DE. Jerome was a 1994 graduate of Kutztown Area High School, Kutztown. Jerome worked as a painter most of his life, having been self-employed, operating Jackson Painting, Reading. He also worked for various painting companies and contractors in the greater Reading area.

He is survived by Daughter, Khalia M. Jackson, Reading; Father, Jerome "Jerry" Jackson companion of Kathleen M. "Kathy" (Long) Yourkavitch, Kutztown; Mother, Beryl E. "Elaine" Jackson, Wilmington, DE; Brothers, Garry A. Jackson, Reading and Gibson G. "Gibby" husband of Michiko T. (Tachibana) Jackson, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Funeral Services are Friday, September 13, 2013 at 2:00 PM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with his great uncle, The Reverend William Blakley, officiating. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Friday, from 12:30 to 2:00 PM in the funeral home.
