Jeffry D Lowry

Jeffry D. Lowry, 59, of Kutztown, died Thursday, December 31, 2009 in his residence. He was the husband of Nancy L. (Hardcassel) Lowry. They were married on August 6, 1988.

Born in Allentown, PA, he was a son of the late Robert A. and Margaret E. (Reid) Lowry. He was a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a carpenter for various construction companies in the area.

He is survived by Wife, Mother-in-law, Elizabeth M. Hardcassel, at home; Daughter, Erica Lowry, Morrisville; Sister, Kathleen (Lowry) Jerdan, Middletown; Brother, Timothy husband of Annette Lowry, Levittown; Sister-in-laws, Linda M. (Hardcassel) wife of Larry Heller, South Hampton, Cathy L. (Hardcassel) wife of Augustus Charles Snyder, Philadelphia; and, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services are Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 1:30 PM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Inurnment is Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 1:30 PM in Dunkel’s Church Cemetery, Kutztown, with Military Honors provided by the Ray A. Master, Post #217, American Legion Honor Guard, Topton. Friends may call Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:30 PM.

The family requests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, PA 19605. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
