Jeffrey L Dries

Jeffrey L. Dries, 55, of Barto, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. He was the husband of Cheryl A. (Bleiler) Dries. They were married June 21, 1980.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Robert H. and Mary M. (Waylen) Dries. He was a member of the Reformed Congregation of Huff's Union Church, Alburtis. He was a 1976 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School, Red Hill; and attended Lehigh Carbon Community College, taking several automotive courses. Jeffrey was employed as a receiving technician by Fisher Clinical Services, Fogelsville for over four years, last working May 6th. Prior to that, he was employed by Bally Case and Cooler, Bally, for 18 years. Jeffrey was a member of the Upper Perkiomen Band Boosters, serving as President from 2010 to 2012. He enjoyed photography, music, working on cars, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by Wife; Son, Kevin Robert, husband  of Lisa M. (Holland) Dries, Emmaus; Daughter, Jamie Nicole Dries, at home; Sister, Virginia K. (Dries), wife of Bruce S. Devine, Green Lane, Montgomery County; and his four-legged companions, Radar and Thomas. He was predeceased by a Daughter, Kaitlin N. Dries in 1992 .

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 10:30 AM in Huff's Union Church, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis, with Reverend Jane M. Kropa officiating. Interment will follow in Huff's Church Union Cemetery, Alburtis. Relatives and friends may call Monday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church.
