Jeffrey C Hutson

Jeffrey C. “Jeff” Hutson, 67, of Topton, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, in Penn Hospice of Rittenhouse, Philadelphia. He was the husband of Kathy A. (Swift) Hutson, whom he married February 22, 1975.

Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan he was a son of Kay G. (Braun) Hutson, Rio Rico, AZ and the late Maj. Donald R. Hutson, U.S. Air Force and F.A.A., Retired. Mr. Hutson was Episcopalian in faith. He was a self-employed gourmet food vendor, operating J. K. Gourmet Foods, LLC., Topton. Jeff was a graduate of Chelmsford High School, Chelmsford, Mass., and Lowell Technical Institute, Lowell, Mass, where he studied Aeronautical Engineering and participated in the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (R.O.T.C.) Program. Jeffrey enjoyed coin collecting, and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters.

He is survived by Wife of 40 years, Kathy; Mother, Kay; Daughter, Meghan K. Hutson, Topton; Son, Aaron M. Hutson, Bethlehem. Other survivors include a Sister, Donna (Hutson) wife of Kenneth Briggs, Rio Rico, AZ. There are 2 Granddaughters, Maya E. Fleming and Lexi G. Remmel.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at 3:00 PM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Relatives and friends may call Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
