Jeanette F Delong

Jeanette F. DeLong, 72, formerly of Woodland Lane, Mertztown, died Sunday, April 9, 2006, in Kutztown Manor, 120 Trexler Avenue, Kutztown, where she had been a resident since October 26, 2004. She was the wife of the late Charles E. DeLong who died on November 23, 1994.

Born in Topton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Marie D. (Miller) Keiser. She was a laborer at the former Royal Manufacturing Company, Alburtis, for a short period of time. She was a member of Longswamp United Church of Christ, Mertztown.

She is survived by Daughters, Susan L. (DeLong) Brensinger, Topton, Lisa M. (DeLong) Oswald, Kutztown, Jane A. DeLong, Emmaus; Son, Michael E. DeLong, Dornsife, PA (Northumberland County); Sisters, Dorothy M. (Miller) Barlet, Fleetwood, Carolyn (Miller) Shafer, Reading; Brothers, Donald Miller, Fleetwood, Reynold Miller, Fleetwood, Ronald Miller, Kutztown; 9 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a Daughter, Sharon F. DeLong in 1955 and a Son, William C. DeLong in 2001.

Graveside Services are Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at 1:45 PM in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown. Friends may call Wednesday from 1:00 to 1:30 PM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 E. Weis Street, Topton. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
