Jean L Greiss

Jean L. (DeLong) Greiss, 82, of Alburtis, died Friday, September 25, 2009 in her residence. She was the wife of Warren L. Greiss. They were married May 5, 1947.

Born in Topton, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur A. and Ella M. (Sechler) DeLong. She was a member of Longswamp United Church of Christ, Mertztown. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, No. 336, Kutztown. She was employed by the former Caloric Corporation as an office clerk from 1946 to 1947. She was then a Homemaker.

She is survived by Husband, Daughter, Lori S. (Greiss) wife of Gregory E. Souders, Alburtis; Sons, Daniel J. husband of Kathy (Henry) Greiss, Oley, and Thomas W. husband of Beth D. (DuBois) Greiss, Fleetwood. In addition, she is survived by Sister, Althea C. (DeLong) widow of William Moyer, Kutztown. There are also 6 Grandchildren, 2 Step Grandchildren, and 7 Great Grandchildren.

Memorial Services are Sunday, September 27, 2009, at 4:00 PM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Inurnment is private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Sunday, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM in the funeral home.
