Jean E. (Warrington) Smith, 71, of Topton, died Thursday, October 26, 2011 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, Lehigh County, where she was a patient since October 21, 2011.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Franklin S. and Eleanor E. (Oaks) Warrington. She worked as a cook for Newport Food Services, Horsham, Montgomery County for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by Daughters, Linda J. (Smedley) wife of William J. Donahue, Sr., Croydon, Bucks County, Loraine E. (Smedley) wife of William J. McDonald, Germansville and Lorrie L. (Smedley) wife of Thomas Haldeman, Ambler, Montgomery County and Son, Lawrence E. “Bucky” Smedley, Illinois. Other survivors include Sisters, Patricia A. (Warrington) Bokano, Topton, Eleanor E. (Warrington) wife of Eugene Kowlakowski, Warren, NJ and Elaine E. (Warrington) wife of Al Thomas, Clear Lake, Calif.; Brother, Franklin S. Warrington, Philadelphia. Also surviving are Grandchildren, Stephen L. Williamson, Shaun E. Dugan, William J. McDonald, III, Duane F. McDonald, II, Rebecca L. Stone, Rachel F. Durphy and Richard W. Barone; and Great Grandchildren, Desiree R. and Nathan Williamson. She was predeceased by a Sister, Margaret (Warrington) Lagenre.
Memorial Services are Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 3:00 PM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Inurnment is private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Tuesday, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM in the funeral home.
