Jason K. Hilbert

Jason K. Hilbert, 47, of Kutztown, died suddenly on Monday, October 2, 2023, in the Emergency Department of Penn State Health - Saint Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township, after he was stricken at work.  Jason was born in Allentown, a son of Keith M. and Rosemary D. (Sanders) Hilbert, Kutztown.

Jason was a graduate of Kutztown Area High School, Class of 1994.  He was a graduate of Reading Area Community College, Reading, where he received an Associated Degree in History.

Jason was employed as a machine operator for East Penn Manufacturing Company, Lyon Station, for 6 years.  He recently began working for F. M. Brown's Sons, Inc., Sinking Spring, as a machine operator in its Animal Feed Division.

Jason enjoyed reading, especially history.  He also enjoyed watching sports, including his favorites the Dodgers, Steelers, and Penn State.

Jason is survived by his parents, Keith M. & Rosemary D. (Sanders) Hilbert, Kutztown; a brother, Christopher L. Hilbert, Kutztown.  Other survivors include his maternal grandfather, Scott W. Sanders, Oley; and paternal grandmother, Roxie A. (Geisinger) Hilbert, Kutztown.  Jason was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Ruth E. (Merkel) Sanders; and his paternal grandfather, Lester C. Hilbert.

At Jason's request, services will be private at the convenience of the family.  There will be no public viewing or calling hours.
