Jared Parker George

Jared Parker George, 24, of Maxatawny, died suddenly on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at his home. Born on February 10, 1998 in Allentown, Jared was a son of Gary R. George of Breinigsville and Julie R. (Seidel) George, of Maxatawny. He was a 2016 graduate of Kutztown Area High School and Berks Career and Technology Center with a certificate in welding.

Jared was employed as a Parts Specialist by Deer Country Farm and Lawn, Inc., Allentown, for the last year. Prior to that, Jared worked as a Welder at Premier Fleet, Shoemakersville, and 4-Seasons Garden Center, Breinigsville. Jared was an avid hunter who enjoyed deer and predator hunting and bear hunting in Lycoming County. He always had a dream of going elk hunting. Jared also enjoyed playing with his "toys," racing go-karts, riding four-wheelers and snowmobiles. He also loved watching and going to NASCAR races and routing for any Chevy driver.

Along with his Mom Julie, and her companion, Robert S. Rohrbach, and Dad, Gary, Jared is survived by his two brothers, Garth R. George and Gavin M. George, companion of Kaylee N. Hoffman, of Maxatawny,; maternal grandparents, Mark W. and Barbara L. (Wagaman) Seidel, of Maxatawny; paternal grandmother, Arlene M. (Mengel) George, of Breinigsville, widow of predeceased paternal grandfather, Robert F. George; aunts and uncles, Jane (Seidel), wife of Paul Rohrbach, of Maxatawny, Jeannine Seidel, fiancé of Carl Kressley, of New Tripoli, Jerilyn (Seidel), wife of Steve Wehr, of Maxatawny, Karen (George), wife of Gary Bogert, of Mertztown, Brenda (George), wife of Todd Trumbauer, of Breinigsville, Rick Butz, of Mertztown, widower of predeceased aunt, Jennifer (Seidel) Butz; and cousins, Austin and Ashley; Jordann; Carissa, Kyle and Katelyn; Melinda, Amanda and Megan; Bryan; Kenny and Daniel.

A funeral service to celebrate and honor Jared’s life will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with his employer, Pastor Jared Weaver, officiating. Burial will follow in Ziegel's Church Union Cemetery, Breinigsville

A viewing will be held on Friday evening, March 4, 2022 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. and again on Saturday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
