Janice L. Angstadt

July 12, 1936 — July 14, 2022

Janice L. (Reinhard) Angstadt, 86, of Kutztown, died peacefully, Thursday, July 14, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the widow of Curtis F. Angstadt who died November 12, 2017. Born in Macungie, Janice was a daughter of the late Manrow J. and Myrtle M. (Geist) Reinhard. She was a member of the U.C.C. Congregation of Jerusalem (Red) Union Church, Kempton, where she served as a member of both the Consistory and Choir.

Janice attended Longswamp High School, Mertztown. She was employed as a cutter at the former Deisher's Knitting Mill, Kutztown. She went on to work in a similar capacity for garment manufacturing facilities in Laureldale and Allentown until her retirement in 1998.

Janice and her late husband, Curt enjoyed playing Hausey and Pinochle. They also took great pride in their grandchildren, helping each of their grandchildren as needed.

Janice is survived by her three sons: Gary S. widowder of Marie (Telech) Angstadt, Fountain Hill; Alan C., husband of Carol (Herring) Angstadt, Kutztown; and Andy W., husband of Tracy (Wendling) Angstadt, Macungie. Other survivors include a brother, Ronald M., husband of Carol A. (Naus) Reinhard, Kutztown. There are six grandchildren: Andrea (Angstadt) Rohrbach, Zackery Angstadt, Cameron Angstadt, Dana Angstadt, Jacob Angstadt, and Shelby Angstadt. There are also two great grandchildren, Gavin Rohrbach and Keira Rohrbach. In addition to her husband Curtis and parents, Janice was predeceased by a sister Anna M. (Reinhard) Scheidt; and three brothers: James A. Reinhard, Robert L. Reinhard and Gene Reinhard.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Janice's life will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Entombment in Garden of the Last Supper Mausoleum, Berks County Memorial Gardens, 201 Evansville Road, Fleetwood. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
