Janet Geiger

Janet E. Geiger, 83, of Topton, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 30, 2025 in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA. Born in Maxatawny Township, Janet was a daughter of the late Spencer E. and Anna Marie (Henderson) Geiger. Janet was a 1959 graduate of Brandywine Heights High School, Topton, and was a faithful member of Zion's Union Church, Maxatawny. Janet was employed for over 51 years by The Allen Organ Company, Macungie, retiring as a Supervisor of Final Assembly in 2010. Janet was an avid reader and enjoyed playing golf and bowling. Her generous heart and compassionate nature made a lasting impact on all who had the privilege to know her. Janet's legacy will live on through the countless moments of joy she shared and the unyielding support she provided to her family and friends.

Janet is survived by her sister, Jean (Geiger) Harter, Kutztown, her niece; Suzanne M. Miller, Kempton; and her extended family. In addition to her parents, Janet was predeceased by her two sisters, Melba M. (Geiger) Faust and Linda H. (Geiger) Henninger; her niece, Tina M. Arndt; and her beloved and adored four-legged companion, Molly.

A graveside service to celebrate and honor Janet's life and burial will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. in Zion Maxatawny Union Cemetery, 329 Church Road, Kutztown, with her Pastor, The Reverend Melissa Burkhart, officiating.
