Jane L Leibensperger

Jane L. (Stetzler) Leibensperger, 60, of Kutztown, died Tuesday, October 29, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the companion of Kerry L. Meitzler, with whom she resided.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Grant J. Stetzler, who died September 17, 2006, and the late Helen R. (Heffner) Stetzler, who died January 1, 2013. She was a member of Saint John's Lutheran Church, Kutztown. Jane was a 1970 graduate of Kutztown Area High School, and 1978 graduate of Kutztown University where she received her bachelor degree in elementary education. She was employed as a preschool teacher by St. John's Lutheran Church Daycare, Kutztown, for over 25 years, last working in September. She also was employed as a waitress by The Airport Diner, Kutztown, for over 20 years, last working in September.

She is survived by Companion; Sons, Marlowe G. Leibensperger, Jr., husband of Erin C. Konta, Maplewood, NJ, Eric M. Leibensperger, husband of Beth Gardiner, Plattsburgh, NY; Brother, Steven G., husband of Diane E. (Jones) Stetzler, Lyon Station; 3 Grandchildren, Alison E., Ryan M., and Jack M. Leibensperger. She was predeceased by a Son, Brian A. Leibensperger in 1986.

Funeral Services are Monday, November 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Saint John's Lutheran Church, 201 East Main Street, Kutztown, with Reverend Susan F. Fox and Reverend Donald B. Landis officiating. Interment will follow in Hope Cemetery, Dryville. Relatives and friends may call Monday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.

The family requests contributions be made to St. John's Lutheran Church Daycare, 201 East Main Street, Kutztown, PA 19530. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
