Jane A Koons

Jane A. (Ludwig) Koons, 70, of Breinigsville, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the loving wife of Gerald G. Koons, whom she married on December 23, 1966.

Born in Heidelberg Township, Lebanon County, Jane was a daughter of the late Harvey L. and Ruth (Schaeffer) Ludwig. She was a homemaker, who loved to clean her home and enjoy her coffee. She took pleasure in listening to country music, especially Randy Travis. Jane was also a Dallas Cowboys fan. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her Husband of 50 years, Gerald, Jane is survived by her 3 Children, Gwynn A. Koons, Breinigsville, Robin L. (Koons) Lobach, companion of Paul W. Herman, Trexlertown, and Paul A. Koons, fiancé of Tina M. Alderidge, Breinigsville; 6 Grandchildren, Blane Lee, fiancé of Rebekah Hinkle, Tiffany Dobracki, and her husband, Neil, Trevor Lobach, Felicia Lobach, Samantha Koons, and Ethan Koons; and 6 Great-Grandchildren, Skylar and Isabella Bohler, Sophia Dobracki, Christian Lee, Krystal Hinkle-Lee, and Baby, Reagen Taylor Bohler, due in May. Jane is also survived by Sisters, Rita Hilbish, Rhoda Sparr, Marilyn Imhoff, and June Smith; and Brothers, Harvey Ludwig, David Ludwig, and Raymond Ludwig. Jane was predeceased by her Parents, and Sisters, Florence Rose, Mary Sturk, and several brothers and sisters in infancy.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 11:30 AM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Pastor Rod Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood. Relatives and friends may call on Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:15 AM in the funeral home.
