Jamie W Amato

Jamie W. Amato, 19, of Longswamp Township, died Friday, October 8, 2010 at 5:05 PM of injuries sustained as the result of being struck by a freight train in Longswamp Township.

Born in Long Island, NY, he was a son of Anthony F., Sr. and Margaret A. (Smith) Amato, with whom he resided.

He is survived by Parents, Sisters, Nicole L. Amato fiancé of Sean Michiels, Heather M. Amato fiancé of Brett Witman, both of Mertztown, Kelly A. Amato, at home; Brothers, Michael A. husband of Dorothy (Susfal) Amato, Macungie, Sean A. Amato and Anthony F. Amato, Jr., both of Mertztown. In addition, his Paternal Grandmother survives, Louise J. (Pasqueralle) widow of Alexander A. Amato, Brentwood, NY. There are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. His maternal Grandparents, the late Ralph and Mae Smith predeceased him.

Funeral Services are Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 11:00 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment is private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Wednesday evening, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
