James R. Oberholtzer, age 65, formerly of 2250 Alsace Road, Reading, died Wednesday, April 2, 2003, in the Lutheran Home, Topton.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late J. Roy and Mary (Smith) Oberholtzer. A 1959 graduate of Lehigh University, he was a metallurgical engineer for Ideal Forging Corp., Southington, Conn., for nine years before retiring in 1996 and previously for Carpenter Technology Corp., Reading, for 27 years before retiring in 1986.
He is survived by Daughters, Lydia S. of Takoma Park, Md., Alicia M. Waid of Fleetwood; Sister, Linda A. Englert of Brick, N.J.; 3 Grandchildren.
Funeral Services are at the convenience of the family. No calling hours. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
