James M. Bennecoff, 72, of Knittle Road, Kutztown, died Saturday, July 10, 2004, in Kutztown Manor Nursing Home, Kutztown, PA, where he was a patient since December 5, 2002. He was married to Pauline M. (Bagenstose) Bennecoff. They were married March 15, 1952.

Born in Maxatawny Twp, Berks County, PA, he was the son of the late James M. and the late Annie L. (Stump) Bennecoff. He was employed in the maintenance department of Reading Eagle Company, Reading, PA, for 30 years retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Reformed Congregation of Zion Union Church, Maxatawny, PA.

He is survived by Wife; Son, Jere M. Bennecoff, at home; Daughter, Pattie D. (Bennecoff) Derr, Kutztown, PA; Brother, Richard S. Bennecoff, Shoemakersville, PA; Sister, Esther L. (Bennecoff) Moyer, Hamburg, PA.

Funeral Services are Thursday, July 15, 2004, at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Zion Maxatawny Union Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Thursday, 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
