James J Bailey

James J. Bailey, age 73, of Wynview Road, Kutztown PA, died Tuesday, March 5, 2002 in his home. He was the Husband of Jean M. (Wetzel) Bailey. The couple celebrated their 54th Wedding Anniversary last May.

Born in Lyon Station PA, he was the Son of the late Solomon and Ellen (Mertz) Bailey. He was a Self-Employed Furniture Maker for James J. Bailey Contractor, Kutztown, since 1974. He was a Member of the Lutheran Congregation of Zion's Union Church, Maxatawny PA.

He is survived by his Wife; Daughters, Cynthia J. (Bailey) Schwenk of Coopersburg PA, Cheryl L. Bailey of Kutztown PA and Cathy E. (Bailey) Fuhrman of Allentown PA; Son, Chris J. Bailey of Mertztown PA; 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. He is Predeceased by his Son, Clifford L. Bailey who died in 1963.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, March 9, 2002 in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton PA. Family and Friends may Call 9:30 AM Saturday in the Funeral Home. Interment in Zion Maxatawny Union Cemetery, Maxatawny PA.
