James F Gallagher

James F. Gallagher, age 71 of 3009 Bath Pike, Upper Nazareth Township, Nazareth PA, died April 14, 2000 in his home.

Born in Allentown PA, he was the son of the late Michael and the late Florence (Fisher) Gallagher. He was the owner / operator of the former Gallagher’s Grocery Store, Allentown for 22 years. After that he was a custodian for the Allentown School District, Allentown, for 18 years until his retirement in 1991. He served in the United States Airforce.

He is survived by Two Daughters, Elizabeth, with whom he resided and Maureen A. Gallagher of Trexlertown PA; Two Sons, John M. Gallagher of Northampton PA and Brian J. Gallagher of Macungie PA; A Sister, Regina P. (Gallagher), wife of Ronald Hoover of Walnutport PA and 3 Grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 AM from Cathedral of Saint Catharine of Siena, 1825 Turner Street, Allentown PA. Interment in Saint Peter’s Union Cemetery, Macungie PA. There are no calling hours. Flowers may be sent or contributions may be made to VFW Post 13, 1349 Hamilton Street, Allentown, 18101.
