James E Lambert

James E. Lambert, 80, of Kutztown, died Saturday, July 23, 2011 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township shortly after arrival. He was the husband of Evelyn M. (Shollenberger) Lambert. They were married December 24, 1951.

Born in Independence, WV, he was a son of the late James Edgal and Madge Frances (Squires) Lambert. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Kutztown. James was a self employed general contractor operating Lambert Construction for many years until his retirement in 2006.

He is survived by Wife, Son, Dale A. husband of Lola (Cronrath) Lambert, Louisa, KY; Sisters, Helen M. (Lambert) wife of Darrell Bosley, Ashburn, GA and Emma L. (Lambert) wife of Robert Loose, Morgantown, WV; Brothers, Donald V. husband of Shirley (Tinney) Lambert, Fuquay-Varina, NC, Daniel W. widower of Catherine M. (Rollman) Lambert, Temple, Willis L. Lambert, Temple, Gary husband of Holly Lambert, Independence, WV, Paul husband of Bernice Lambert, Marietta, OH and Blake W. Lambert. In addition, there is a Granddaughter, Abby C. (Lambert) wife of Anthony Stauder, Louisa, KY. James was predeceased by a Sister, Catherine (Lambert) Reed and a Brother, Nelson E. Lambert.

A public visitation will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2011, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
