James C Isamoyer

James C. Isamoyer, 70, of Mertztown, died in his residence, January 1, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Dolores A. (Fegley) Isamoyer, whom he married September 19, 1964 .

Born in Longswamp Township , he was a son of the late Norman F. and Edna E. (Stauffer) Isamoyer. James was a member of Longswamp United Church of Christ, Mertztown. Mr. Isamoyer was employed as a sheet metal worker for Electro Space Fabricators, Topton for 43 years, retiring in 2007 .

He is survived by Wife, Dolores; Sons, Brian N., husband of Tina S. (Radcliffe) Isamoyer, and Mark A., husband of Wendy L. (Pascoe) Isamoyer, all of Mertztown. Other survivors include a Brother, William H. husband of Joyce (Weisner) Isamoyer, a Brother-in-law, Charles Guth widower of predeceased Sister, Virginia (Isamoyer) Guth; 4 Grandchildren, Elizabeth (Isamoyer) wife of Mark Moser, Maggie, Allison, and Carson Isamoyer .

Memorial Services will be held Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM from Longswamp United Church of Christ, 200 Clay Road, Mertztown, with Reverend Dr. Katherine Brearly officiating.  Inurnment will be private, at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church .

The family requests contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, PA 19605 . Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
