Jacqueline L Boggs

Jacqueline L. Boggs, 86, of Richmond Township, died Sunday, October 25, 2009 in her home.

Born in Waterloo, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Howard L. and Marietta B. (Burns) Boggs. She was a member of Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Kutztown. She was a textile designer for Burlington Industries and was on the exhibition staff of the Hagley Museum, DE. She was an associate professor in the Art Education and Craft Department of Kutztown University from 1964 until her retirement in 1991. Ms Boggs received both a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree of Fine Arts in Fiber from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, with additional credits at Tyler/Temple University, Philadelphia.

She is survived by Nephew, Will Boggs, Indianapolis, IN.

Memorial Mass is Thursday, October 29, 2009, at 10:00 AM from Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown. Inurnment in Resurrection Cemetery Columbarium, Wescosville. Friends may call 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the church.

The family requests contributions to St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church Memorial Fund, 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown, PA 19530. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
