Jacob T. Breyer

Jacob T. "Jake" Breyer, 74, of Kutztown, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, PA. He was the husband of Joan M. (Ely) Breyer, whom he married on June 24, 1989. Born in Delmar, DE, Jake was a son of the late Philip F. and Thelma E. (Carmean) Breyer. Jake worked in construction for many years, most recently working at Solt's Sawmill in Mertztown, for seven years, until his retirement in 1993. He also assisted former Auctioneer, Sam Morgan, in Milford, PA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking. Jake had a love for dogs, especially his four-legged companion, Nicky. A true spirit of joy, Jake was known for his kindness. He will be fondly remembered by his family and friends for being quite the "Jokester."

Along with his wife Joan, Jake is survived by his four daughters, Theresa Breyer, Margie Breyer, Susan Fluck, and Sharon Fluck; two step-children, Belinda Heller and Donald "Butch" Heller; sisters, Barbara Kline, Mary Asplen, and Patty Rogers; brothers, Fredrick Breyer and Wayne Breyer; Grandchildren Natacha, Kisha, Adriana, and great grandchildren Angel, Christian, and Kairi.

In addition to his parents Jacob was predeceased by his sister, Phyllis Moyer and brother Donald Breyer.

A visitation for Jake will be held on Thursday, June 11th 2026 from 2pm-3pm in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, PA.
