Irwin E Schlegel

Irwin E. Schlegel, 81, a resident of Kutztown Manor, formerly of Topton, died Friday, September 17, 2010, with his loving niece, Gloria L. Althouse by his side in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp., PA.

Born in Longswamp Township, he was a son of the late Irwin A. and Clara A. (Heiter) Schlegel. He is a member of Grace EC Church, Kutztown.

He is survived by Sister, Florabell C. (Schlegel), widow of Norman A. Kramer of Topton, PA; Brothers, Wayne I., husband of Gloria Schlegel of Emmaus, Grant O., husband of Mae M. Schlegel of Kutztown, and Rayneld E., husband of Viola Schlegel of Macungie, PA; Niece, Gloria L. (Kramer) wife of Edwin L. Althouse, Davidsonville, MD. He is also survived by additional nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his Sister, Anna L. (Schlegel) wife of Norman Edinger, Topton.

Funeral Services are Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 11:00 AM in Grace EC Church, 421 West Main Street, Kutztown, PA. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Tuesday morning from, 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.
