Irene Munoz

Irene Munoz, age 85, of 4 Jay Lane, Kutztown, formerly of Reading and Manhattan, N.Y., died Tuesday, September 16, 2003, in Laurel Nursing Center, Tilden Township, Berks County. She was the wife of Eleuterio Munoz, who died in July.

Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Felix and the Jacinta (Alicea) Martinez. She was an elementary teacher's aide in Brooklyn, N.Y., 1965-75. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kutztown.

She is survived by Sons, Nelson A. Sr. of Kutztown, Felix M. of Hemet, Calif.; Daughter, Rachel M. Romero of Flushing, N.Y.; Sister, Dolores Torres of Brooklyn; 6 Grandchildren, a Step grandchild.

Mass of Christian Burial, 9:00 AM Monday, September 22, 2003, in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kutztown. Friends and family may call 8:00 - 9:00 AM Monday in the church.

Contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
