Irene M Kern

Irene M. Kern, age 92, formerly of 82 S. Whiteoak St., Kutztown, died Sunday, April 27, 2003, in Berks Heim, Reading. She was married to Ernest A. Kern for 74 years in December.

Born in Weisenberg Township, she was a daughter of the late Herbert P. and Mamie E. (Kuhns) Herman.

She is survived by Husband; Son, Gerald P. of Kutztown; Daughters, Shirley M. Delcamp of Kutztown, Diane R. Walbert of Hamburg; Sisters, Marian E. Reimert, Myrtle B. Dietrich and Ruth A. Dries, all of Kutztown, Marie A. Nelson of Scottsdale, Ariz., Althea D. Eisenhard of Reading; 19 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, a Great Great Granddaughter. She was predeceased by daughter, Goldie M. Meitzler, in 1994, and sons, Clayton and Larry J.

Funeral Services are 10:30 AM Thursday, May 1, 2003, from the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich St., Kutztown. Friends may call 9:30 - 10:30 AM Thursday. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown PA.
