Hilda M Schnabel

Hilda M. Schnabel, 74, of South Baldy Street, Kutztown (Kutztown Borough), died Sunday, January 1, 2005, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Salisbury Twp., Lehigh County, near Allentown, where she was a patient since December 30, 2005.

Born in Egypt, Lehigh County, she was the daughter of the late Henry M. and the late Beatrice M. (Cummings) Schnabel. She was employed as a Dining Room Attendant by AVI, Inc. (Automated Vending Incorporated, Warren, Ohio) (Contract Dining Services Provider) at Kutztown University in the South Dining Hall, since 1989, last working this past December 15 ^th . She also was employed as a dishwasher at the former Rentschler’s Bakery, Kutztown from 1989 until their closing in August 2001. She was a member of Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Kutztown (Richmond Twp.).

She is survived by Sisters, Dorothy W. Schnabel, with whom she resided, Mary R. (Schnabel) widow of Russell B. Walter, Red Hill, Montgomery County, Florence L. (Schnabel) wife of Charles P. Moser, Lyons; Brothers, Henry J. Schnabel, Kutztown, John T. Schnabel, Red Hill, Montgomery County.

Mass of Christian Burial is Thursday, January 5, 2006 at 9:30 AM from Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown (Richmond Twp). Interment in Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, Bally (Washington Twp.). There are no calling hours.

The family requests contributions be made to the Building Fund of Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown, PA 19530. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
