Herbert Y Isamoyer

Herbert Y. Isamoyer, 88, formerly of Luther Meadows and Breinigsville, died Thursday, May 28, 2015, in The Lutheran Home at Topton.

Born in Longswamp Township he was a son of the late George U. and Irene E. (Guldin) Isamoyer.  Herbert was a member of Zion's Union Church, Maxatawny. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during WWII. Mr. Isamoyer was employed as a material handler over 41 years at Caloric Corporation, at its former Topton plant, until his retirement in 1989.

He is survived by Sisters, Anna P. (Isamoyer) widow of Fred E. Eisenhart, a resident at Lehigh Center, Macungie, Betty E. (Isamoyer) widow of Charles W. Oswald, a resident of The Lutheran Home at Topton and Jean I. (Isamoyer) widow of Niles R. Althouse, Mertztown; Brothers, George A. J. Isamoyer, Jr., Mertztown and Edwin C. Isamoyer, Fleetwood. There are also nieces, nephews and cousins who survive. Herbert was predeceased by a Sister, Joyce L. (Isamoyer) Neimeyer and a Brother, Harold Isamoyer.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton, with Reverend Jeffrey J. Butz, officiating. Interment will follow services in Zion Maxatawny Union Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Tuesday, 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
