Helene B. Tay

Helene B. (Visser) Tay, 73, of Greenwich Township, died peacefully Wednesday, November 24, 2021, in her residence, surrounded by her family.  She was the wife of Robert J. Tay.  They were married December 27, 1989.  Born in Paterson, NJ, Helene, was a daughter of Andrew Visser.

Helene was employed as a cashier at the A & P Grocery Store, Wallington, NJ, for ten years until her retirement.

Helene enjoyed playing computer games and connecting with people on Facebook.  In her younger years, Helene enjoyed spending time at the beach and deep sea fishing.  But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her husband and family.

SURVIVORS:  In addition to her husband of 31 years, Robert, Helene is survived by four children:  Lisa E. (Yobbagy) Anderson, Kutztown; Amanda (Yobbagy), wife of Brian Marsh, Brooksville, Florida; James P. Yobbagy, Jefferson County, Washington; Jeff J. VanBlarcom, Pendleton, South Carolina. There are thirteen grandchildren: Alecia G. Jakimas, Jefferson County, Washington; Andrew Yobbagy and Amber Yobbagy, both of New Jersey, Kevin and Keith Joyce; Paul, Shaun, Nick, Eddie, and Charlie Marsh; Jayden, Ashtyn, and Keegen VanBlarcom.  Other survivors include a brother, Andrew Visser, Toms River, NJ.

SERVICES:  Services for Helene will be held privately by her family.
