Helen S. Wolfgang, 95, formerly of Fleetwood, died Saturday, May 27, 2006, in Henry Health Care Center of the Lutheran Home at Topton where she resided. She was the wife of late Raymond D. Wolfgang who died February 24, 1983.
Born in the Village of Huff’s Church, Hereford Twp., Berks County, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and the late Clara (Snyder) Reitnauer. She, along with her late husband owned and operated a dairy farm in Rockland Twp., for many years. They also did dairy farming for The Lutheran Home at Topton, Longswamp Twp for 10 years. She then worked for the former Shartlet Knit Goods Co., Fleetwood as a Floor Lady. She also worked at the former Red Cheek, Fleetwood until her retirement in the mid 1970’s. She was a member of Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church, Lobachsville.
She is survived by Daughters, Judith A. (Wolfgang) Walters, Catasauqua, Lehigh County, Darlene S. (Kantner) Bogert, Alburtis, Berks County; 10 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild.
Funeral Services are Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment in Hill Church Union Cemetery, Pike Twp. Friends may call Wednesday, 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
